What is Close-Up and Parlor Magic?
Close up magic is a performance subset of illusions in which the Illusionist performs their effects directly in front of the spectator(s). There is no stage and no big props involved. At times objects are even borrowed from spectators.
Parlor Magic is a more formal performance for a small audience between 50 and 100. This type of show is where the Illusionist is at a table and people are seated in rows and watches the Illusionist perform. People will also be called up to help out and participate.
